Convert to UPS?
What are the requirements for this system?
It is recommended that you attempt to use the website with a recent browser such as Internet Explorer 6. Thermal label printing and some mail list processing functions require a Java 2 plugin for your browser, and this can be obtained by downloading and installing the JRE (Java Runtime Environment) from www.java.com. In order to test whether or not you have Java properly installed in your web browser, you should visit this page: Test your Java Virtual Machine
In addition, in order to enable normal printing and address book functionality, your browser must allow cookies and have JavaScript enabled (despite the similar name, Javascript is completely separate from the Java plugin).
When I try to print a thermal label, I get a message about a signed applet. Why?
That message indicates that our printing system is getting ready to initialize the Java plugin used to print to your thermal printer. In order for this to work, you must click Yes or Always to enable our printing system to run properly.
When I try to print a standard 8.5 X 11 airbill, the receipt prints, but the airbill doesn't.
This usually only happens with certain printers and certain web browsers. Internet Explorer 5.01 has this problem most often. It can also happen if you are using a PostScript printer driver. Check for the most recent driver for your printer, and update Internet Explorer. For further assistance, contact Viom Logistics technical support or check this article at Microsoft.com.
